Either processor is fine.
I don't buy used batteries and I will only buy genuine Lenovo batteries. 14.1" T61
Also, if you've got some DDR2-memory, I'm interested, but only in combination with one of the earlier mentioned items. (also looking for a cheap red-dot-i-forgot-what-its-called)
I'm also in need of a new CPU-fan, as mine is starting to die.

PayPal only, Swedish buyer.

Edit:
I'm not sure if this is allowed in this forum, please excuse me if it isn't, but if someone knows a good webshop for the items that I'm looking for, please PM me about it.

First, there's no problem at all to post highly on-topic WTB's as you are doing here, so you just lean back now and wait for all the fantastic offers to drop in! :) Second; more specific questions relating e.g. webshops could possible be posted elsewhere on the forum - have a look for yourself where you believe such questions better belong. Anyway, we're very friendly people around here  so this is not a problem... but please feel (very!) welcome to make yourself a bit more acquainted with the various sub-forums here on the board.

Should you however be in doubt about what's OK and what's not, a good starting point is obviously to have a quick glance (if you've haven't had it already?) in the two "stickies": FOR SALE advert. guidelines.. **AMENDED** 02-July-2011 and FORUM RULES, HOW-TOs and FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

PS: Another option (apart from the more "risky" eBay.de and/or eBay.co.uk) is to post a "WTB" in the German ThinkPad forum Markplatz - plenty of stuff being sold there, and since they, like you, are also within EU, you won't need to deal with having to pay (expensive!) customs/tax/VAT and various handling fees upon import from abroad.

Also, it is no longer possible to ship batteries outside of the USA, unless via VERY expensive UPS or Fedex, etc.

Ooh, yes, you're quite right; I had completely forgotten this (thanks for reminding me... this is some "relatively new news", and certainly highly annoying!). More information about this in the sticky USPS ban on international shipment of Li-ion batteries.

Thanks, Dominic! :thumbs-UP:

I assume you're referring to "Trackpoint Mouse Red Cap Nipple Pointer" as I call it in my listing (to cover all the bases). People (especially strange gentlemen from England) seem to make up their own name for that red dot thing that goes on the keyboard. There are 3 different styles: Classic Dome (also known as cat's tongue), Soft Dome and Soft Rim.

I have those red-dot-i-forgot-what-its-called, DDR2-memory and CPU fan which would ship pretty cheaply via USPS and probably avoid most VAT/taxes being less than $100 package. I have shipped such items to most parts of Europe.

Of course I have brand new Genuine Lenovo 6-cell and 9-cell T61 batteries available but as mentioned above we Americans are under a Li-Ion ban because some geniuses at the USPS, its postal aviation superiors and the White House don't know how to run a postal system properly or the country for that matter. Better we go back to the days of the Pony Express LOL ... And of course the cost of shipping a 2 pound (well-packed) battery package via UPS (United Parcel Service) may be prohibitive (too burdensome).

As for the CPU upgrade I don't have a T9300 right now but could possibly obtain one for you at a competitive price. What I do have on hand right now is a 2.4GHZ Intel C2D T8300 processor in perfect working condition, removed from a T61. You may not find much performance difference between the two in most everyday tasks and the T8300 will cost less. There was a longgggggg... discussion with another Swedish buyer contemplating a T61 CPU upgrade here: viewtopic.php?t=104147
