Yes...*that one* is up for grabs now...no, I'm NOT kidding...

viewtopic.php?f=21&t=103936

It's just not getting the attention it deserves, hence I'm looking for a new home for this lovable Frankie...

current configuration:

ThinkPad T43F

Based on 1871-CTO:
P M 750 (1.86GHz/2MB L2 cache/533 Mhz Dothan core)
2GB RAM
80GB 5400rpm SATA HDD
15in 1400x1050 IPS FlexView LCD
Intel 900
CDRW/DVD
Intel 802.11bg wireless
Bluetooth/Modem
1Gb Ethernet
Secure Chip
6c Li-Ion batt
WinXP Pro
Modded BIOS

Very little wear (check the pictures link below) and one pixel-size spec in the upper middle portion of an otherwise exceptionally nice LG Philips FlexView LCD is all that I have to report. The machine runs beautifully, and might just be the ultimate Linux box if you're interested in running it on a T4x/R5x platform.

How do I price a machine this unusual and unique? A difficult task indeed, even for myself.

As usual, shipping abroad is not a problem, feel free to inquire. Upgrades are available as well.

Yes, I do need this fine ThinkPad gone that bad. I want someone to enjoy it...a lot of thought and effort has gone into this Frankie, and it should be used daily.

As for "someone"...a LOT will depend on WHO you are. "First come first served" may or may not apply to this particular sale.

PM or email me directly to tataslonATaol.com with any questions/concerns.

Very nice frankie :) and a great price too. Just the sata mod and screen upgrade would cost more then that alone.

ps. can you describe the mods done to it for members who may not be up on this stuff?
