#1 Post by bgx » Sun Jan 03, 2016 10:21 am

short story:

+full size hdmi

-no vga, no ethernet. Needs a onelink+ to vga/ethernet adaptor.

still stupid keyboard with combined end/insert key.

see also the us lenovo website (thinkpad yoga)

memory option : 4 till 16GB. Not sure how it is made. all soldered? 1 slot only (the 16GB is very exp)?

pretty sure the X260 will have the exact same motherboard.

i ll wait for the spec of T460s and unlikely news from the classic thinkpad project to decide where to go...

edit: seems it was known since IFA. Sorry, I saw the posst on redit today, seemed like some annonced ahead of CES rather something very late from IFA.

That one is just called "ThinkPad Yoga 260", its not part of the X-Series.

X260 will be very much like X250.

Yoga 260 was announced on IFA a few months ago already. It has one DIMM slot for DDR4 RAM.

I'm intrigued. Might be a worthy upgrade from my Yoga 3 Pro, especially with 16GB of RAM. I notice the shift key is larger than on my Y3P, one of the things that bugs me about my Yoga. I also see the return of the pointer nub and mouse buttons in addition to the trackpad. I'm not so keen on a smaller screen as I think of 13" as the minimum, with 15" being the sweet spot. And this one is black! My Y3P is silver, which for me just isn't right for a ThinkPad, even a Yoga. I'll hit my local Best Buy when they have them on display and see if the 12.5" screen kills it for me. But I'm intrigued.
