BIOS update process

#1 Post by richk » Thu Jun 10, 2010 6:31 pm

During a BIOS update, one of the first status messages is "save old bios to backup file". Does anyone know where the backup is or what it is called?

In 'older' BIOS updates, the backup was written onto the floppy disk.
Not possible when you use a CD.
If done from within Windows, check for the latest entries with a matching timestamp anywhere on the HD.
