Everytime i use Google Maps it scrolls automatically to the left uncontrallably. The only way to stop this is to close the tab or restart the page. But this problem repeats shortly after using Google Maps.

Some users also experience this issue see this link.

The mentioned solution didn't help me as i don't see any option "horizontal scrolling"

I use FireFox 4, disabled touchpad, using the UltraNav as pointing/scrolling device. OS is Win 7 pro

Anyone here can reproduce this problem or know how to fix this?

Firefox is already at version 6.0.
I prefer Mapquest to Google maps.
Maybe that's the difference?

Updating to FF6 didn't work either. I just tried MapQuest, it seems to work fine without the scrolling problem though they don't have streetview and the map is outdated as well.

Using IE 8 seems to work fine too, not sure if the problem is caused by FF or synaptics. Some people mentioned about this 1-2 yrs ago when they were using FF3.5 on XP and installed synamptics according to that forum.
