I mistakenly bought an 12.5mm 2.5" IDE IBM Travelstar.

Which Thinkpad models would this hard drive fit in?

I have a 770 that it would fit in, but I don't know about other models...

It will work in any A series, as well as in T2x units. I believe 600 series can take these as well.

I'm sure there's more, but I'm getting old and forgetful...

My 760's use a 17mm drive that the 12.5 would fit in easily, pretty much the whole 7 series would take it.

Would you believe I have removed my 600E's hard drive from the laptop before but I never paid attention to its height?

At this moment, I am looking to buy a Dell Latitude C840 which is the newest model Dell laptop that would take a 12.5mm hard drive.
I'd buy a Txx series, but they seem to command a premium on eBay. :(

PM me if you are interested in a reasonably priced T23 (takes 12.5MM high drives).

Thank you for the offer, but I had already purchased a Dell Inspiron 8200 which needs a hard drive and a caddy on eBay last night.
Keeping my fingers crossed that this is a keeper. :|
