Vista's Aero on Mobility Radeon 7500

Hi Everyone
I'm new here and i like this Forum so much, i have a T41with Windows Vista Ultimate installed ,it's running perfectly and i'm so happy for that all i need is to activate its Aero ,i know that it is requires at least 128MB compatible graphics card ,but i hope if there is some software that forces activate The Aero , i used the Registry hack but no way it won't work

all i wanna know is
does anyone with the same graphics card was able to activate the Aero

My Setup : T41 14"/CPU 1.6Ghz Banias /1GB of RAM/HDD 40 Go 5400Rmp/Windows Vista Ultimate (never Updated)[/b]
Currently :T41 CPU 1.6 Ghz/Centrino Platform/RAM 1GB/Radeon 7500/HDD 40Go 5400RMP/DVD Multi-Burner/Vista Ultimate.
Formerly :600E /CPU PII 300Mhz / 320 of Ram/HDD 10Go/XP sp2

Can't be done. Card doesn't support DX9.

Oh my god that's mean i will never see the Aero on this ThinkPad This is too bad

Try WinFlip, I use it on XP.

Use it in compatibility mode for WinXP. My guess, just try it, might be a chance it works.

Oh thanks it works ,but its just enable the Flip it doesn't enable the Aero translucency

We have to find some solution ,i can't wait for the Aero

hey guys what about increase the gfx memory from the RAM by some software or some hack like this

The Aero is a translucency of the theme ,it makes the windows looks cool

is it primarily the aesthetic appeal? or is aero better from a functional standpoint?

Its primarily the aesthetic appeal no more no less you can work on the same vista without aero effects

i've been thinking about buying a vista license to see for myself what all the hubbub was all about. i think i'll just save my money and put it towards the elusive t60p/15" uxga ips machine i'd really like to find.
