I got a OCZ Vertez II 60gb SSD drive. I'm contemplating putting it in the T61p. It's a 14 inch non widescreen model. Will this BIOS flash work?
Thank you

Thinking of ordering a 3.gen vertex or intel ssd when they become available here (as it will be able to run at full speed in my next machine it seems resonable to get 3.gen rather than a perhaps cheaper 2. gen)
Will a sata 6.0 disk like these be backwards compatible with a T61 with or without the modded bios?

Let us know how the Vertex 3 works out and we can compare them to Vertex 2 speeds...
This is just a guess, but I think the Vertex 3 or any SATA III drive should be backwards compatible with II or I speeds... As everything else, as long as it has the same interface as previous generations, such as RAM.
Personally, I would install the modded BIOS since it's been working great for me as well as many others.
