Hey people out there!!!
I need a well description of what to do to get 1066 FSB on my machine.
The quad core mod wouldn't be possible, because my T61 wide wouldn't be quite suitable to "easily" do this mod.
In the german forum i got quite needful help, but i like to ask this question here, too...
First of all the question....how much more performance would this be, would it be really useful to change FSB to 1066? For now i have the T9300 working in my T61 and the performance that this processor has isn't that bad....so what effort would it have to change up to 1066 FSB, what would be the fastest processor with a good price to use then?
How much more performance would this bring?
Anyone there who already did some mod with the T61 14,1 wide?
So tell me what you did and how you did it!!
Thanx a lot!!
Kindly regards,
PanDoRA

Since you are not going for the quad core mod, and you already have a T9300, I'd suggest you to sell your T61 and grab yourself a T400 or T500. It'll be much less of a hassle. You'll also get much better graphics

Re: T61, 14" wide tuning
Thanx,
but in this case it would even be worth a thought or even two if it wouldn't be wiser to change to T410.
Switchable graphics, led displays, but even limited to 8GB Ram. And then the three usb ports, very silly positioned....
So the newer the models are/ were, the more silly would be everything...
so therefore the t61 isn't such a bad thing....and therefore i like to get the maximum out of this machine.
Kind regards,
PanDoRa
