T61 14" 4:3 moterboard fuses location

#1 Post by kkk » Thu May 28, 2015 9:21 am

42W7872 board doesn't power the backlight - tried another set of LCD, LCD cable and inverter and still no backlight, but I can see the screen is working. So It should be some fuse on the board. According to this guide: http://thinkwiki.de/T61_Sicherungen it shoud be F8 or more likely F7, but it's for wide screen 14" and this one is standard screen. Found F7 and F8 signs on my board - click here for the picture,
but where/which exactly are these fuses F7 and F8 and are they for the same purposes as the ones on the widescreen board?

F7 is for the backlight (same on all T6x mobos).
It is located to the right of the LCD-cable connector (as in your pic).
