What is Intel(R) 82801GBM (ICH7-M) LPC Interface Controller?

#1 Post by fanqimeng » Mon Aug 18, 2008 1:28 pm

Hello there, I have reinstalled windows xp on my T60 and I got a unknown device in the device manager. It is called 'Intel(R) 82801GBM (ICH7-M) LPC Interface Controller - 27B9' and I couldn't find correct driver for it. However, the computer seems working well.

Does anyone know what it is? And where can I find the driver? Cheers.

Try the chipset driver or the Intel Matrix Storage driver. You can find both on the driver matrix at lenovo.com

I believe that's the Atmel tpm.

The driver should be available from http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 58054.html

ACPI\IBM0071 refers to the Fast Infrared port. If you don't need it you can disable it in the BIOS.
Planned Purchase: T480s i5-8350 FHD Touch
Impulse Buy: Thinkpad not named for safety reasons
