For trackpoint sensitivity adjustments and middle button scrolling on Linux the easiest method is to install
GPointingDeviceSettings, but it is not currently available in the Fuduntu repo. I understand that Fuduntu packagers are working on it, and should have it available in their testing repo in a couple of weeks.
They do currently have these in the repo:
acpitool
hdaps-gl
kmod-tp_smapi-dkms
thinkfan
And I'm told they are also working on having tpb (Thinkpad Buttons) in the repo soon too.
Fuduntu is shaping up to be a fine rpm based ThinkPad distro. And the dev team seems to be made up of some really nice and helpful folks.
