A surveiller donc...

Great stuff, very good video. Although I would very much appreciate if you would listed options you checked during install. Also, do you plan to upgrade to 10.5.6? If yes, a nice tutorial would be also appreciated.

Thank you for your message.
On a 10.5.6 update, I urge you the latest IPC 10.5.6, which is simply fabulous.
I buy CoolBook that works quite beautifully with the T60p
The big problem with changing keyboard intenpestif have disappeared.
The problems of small parameters of energy savings have disappeared.
If you wish, I can also get a video for the IPC 10.5.6
Best regards

Re: iATKOS 4i (10.5.4) Guide for T60p (2007-WMJ) 1600x1200
Tried all of your kexts yesterday (except for video, which I've edited myself, only used your ATIInject) with iPC 10.5.6 and had mixed results.
SpeedStep worked alright, although cooler was very loud all the way, even though CPU was onlyaround 40 degrees hot. Sleep worked only half-way - it went to sleep mode alright, but never woke up properly, rebooting the laptop and then saying "Wake Kernel!" during boot.
But the biggest problem I'm concerned with is that I have only single CPU Core working. I have to boot with "cpus=1" param, otherwise it doesn't boot. Anyone knows any suggestions there?

Maybe just list Customization options you checked during installation here and upload a new set of kexts for 10.5.6. That would be awesome!upgarde wrote:If you wish, I can also get a video for the IPC 10.5.6

I do not remember much of what I do on the kexts for the passage in IPC 10.5.6.
But it works quite well.

- Sleep.
- Wifi
- SpeedSpep with CoolBox 2.13! its a must !
- Video QE / CE OK

I am hoping for the best this time Thank you
I hope upgarde is fallowing this tread because my card is the same as his ["Wifi work : part number card 40Y7026"] another tread in this forum says [" Actually the 40Y7026 FRU ends up being the Atheros AR5BXB6 Mini-PCI Express card."] with a picture and all same card .
Now I see he recommend you iPC which I am hoping too but I wonder what he does when it comes to install wireless on that list in pcwiz were the advertize only one Atheros card.
Wonder

wow, iATKOS 5.5 upgraded to 5.6 works a lot better than Kalyway for the T60p. So I'm almost done other than a few problems.
1) Screen randomly doesnt show up correctly during boot up. Ether I can see the login screen or I see nothing but a blue background
2) Unable to project to external monitor (CI & CE is working fine)
3) Left side of the screen goes dark gray when I'm on power.

Re: iATKOS 4i (10.5.4) Guide for T60p (2007-WMJ) 1600x1200
Most of the small problems are easy to solve.
1: I do not fit on the screen blue or black to boot
2: For the dual screen must be enabled Display / LCD + VGA in the bios.
3: you must: High light at boot in the BIOS.

1)So this is what I get most of the time
It take about.. 5 power off and on, and a lot of wishing, to see the proper login screen. Issue with the ATIinject?
2) the only way to attach the external monitor is to have it look up to the laptop before the bootup? I had the LCD + VGA set in the bios, but attaching the monitor when I'm already logged into osx wont display anything on the second screen.

1 : Ohh, sorry, I misunderstood. (i am french frog man)
This is the typical problem for plants with a bad versions of drivers on OSX.
You can try to recover ATIInject + Atindrv + ATIRadeonX1000 here: http://dl.free.fr/upG5fUCRf5
But if you're on 10.5.6, you have probably the same files in pack : http://dl.free.fr/tKGyHlF0P
The IATKOS (all versions) does not have a very good reputation, I urge you IPC 10.5.6
2: Normally the screen resolution is automatically recognized is in mirror mode but it means of course the good drivers.

I have been using that 10.5.6 video drivers, but I guess I can try out the IPC 10.5.6 as well.
IPC was a failure for me. Install went smoothly, but couldnt even get the display to work with your driver.
btw does your mic port work?
