As far as I am aware, yes. There is ExpressCard and then there is ExpressCard 2.0. Lenovo does not specify whether their slots are ExpressCard 2.0, but from what I have read, if the computer has PCI Express 2.0 in the chipset, then it will support ExpressCard 2.0. The speed of ExpressCard 2.0 is 5Gbit/sec whereas SATA II is 3Gbit/sec.

I stand corrected below.

T410 expresscard slot is v1.0 only, so up to 2,5Gbit/sec is possible.

T410 uses Intel 5 series chipset (QM57 exactly)

From Intel datasheet here:
Quote:
PCI Express*
— NEW: 8 PCI Express root ports
— NEW: PCI Express 2.0 specification running at 2.5 GT/s.
— Support for full 2.5 Gb/s bandwidth in each direction per x1 lane— Module based Hot-Plug supported (such as, ExpressCard*)
