I believe the T410 is SATA 300 / SATA 2.

I like to get either Intel 330 or 520 SSD for my T410. I understand the speed will be limited by SATA 2.

My question is, would SATA 3 SSD be compatible? Are the connectors the same?

SATA III drives use the same connector as is used for SATA II.

Absolutely compatible, and if you must have Intel, I would strongly suggest the 520 series. It has very fast speeds, even on the SATA II ports. Both the SATA II and SATA III drives will be limited to the same sustained transfer speed, but it is all about the random reads. The SATA III drives based on the SF-2281 or the 88SS9187/Everest 2 have much better random read rates on the SATA II connections than any of the SATA II SSDs.

The Intel 520 series uses the SF-2281.
