Perhaps the people interested in the non-S upgrade a lot more, but due to this really complicated way of buying with pre-ordering and waiting for months, most of them just don't have the nerve to wait.

If 20-30 kits are build and list on ebay or aliexpress, perhaps will be sold in bigger quantities if that is the main concern for Javi.

I have already bought a display and want to know if that was waste of time and money.

Nothing to do with nerve. It's about the work involved and other things demanding attention.

Also, 20-30 kits is a drop in the bucket. If someone is willing to set up and front an order for like say.... 500 kits, I'm sure Javi would be more inclined to pick up and rush work on it. :)

These type of kits and upgrades, will likely stay focused for the chinese domestic market. There's enough business on the 51nb forums alone to keep them busy. The creators have no reason to deal with english-speakers on aliexpress or ebay, most of whom need their hands held each step of the upgrade process and the risk of a chargeback.

Unfortunately my screen does not work perfectly, it shows in the background a bright white frame and sometimes it also flickering.
Very good to see on the right side and especially on the right down corner.

Someone has seen already this problem?

Edit was is not possible, I think because an admin has changed the embedding of the image. This is the reason why i replay ...

For me it looks as if it's the background lighting, if I reduce the brightness it goes be better.
Actually I wanted to ask whether the error can be fault of the kit or a defect of the screen is?
Someone of you had similar problems with the kit?

You sure you got authentic AUO panel?

See my links below, here are 2 images of the authentic panel I got...

More info about the panel here:

This was a used pulled panel from a Dell E7440...I ended up getting 2 kits and the panels from a US ebay seller....installed in a T430s and T420s...

Both working flawlessly since last year

I tried the B140HAN01.2 from Yoga 14 top assembly.
My suggestion is leave these screens for the Yoga users please.

I ended up with a screen with dust inside, a touch glass panel That I have no idea how to use/sell,
It's also worth mentioning that The B140HAN01.2 in this top assembly lacks the screw holes.

The domestic market are more or less saturated now.
shipping, together with the source of the authentic screens, plus my lack of time, are the biggest problems

You can still purchase through the link for the replacement kits FYI

@ji2o0k
Thank you for your reply.

I am very sure that the display is authentic. The sticker is in the right place and looks authentic, the printed number should also fit.
Here are two images

http://i65.tinypic.com/e87tl3.jpg

The last days it was okay, no more errors, until now.
I've worked the whole day with the dockingstation and now just open Notekook and it flickers really bad.

It looks like that now:

I think all cables are connected properly and really hope it's not fault of kit. I will write to the panel seller.

WOOOOOO! easy assembly, perfect working screen! its SO GOOD.
i used the amazon seller LCDOLED (not the ebay seller LCDOLED).
(im reasonably sure its a legit auo B140HAN01.2)

p.s.: thanks for the color profile, it was necessary. i freaked out how yellow it was at first, but color reproduction is now best ive ever seen on a thinkpad.
