Hi all.

Today i hooked up a Dell ultrasharp U2711 2560x1440 through displayport to my T420s with intel integrated graphics. But when I do that the old 1280x1024 monitor that sits on VGA is being disabled.

All three monitors show on windows screen resolution properties, but its not possible to extend both of the monitors at once. The intel driver only shows the monitor thats extended at the moment. Anyones got a clue why its being disabled?

I have the latest video drivers from the lenovo driver matrix.

/Patrick

I believe you can only run two displays at a time on the X220. Either the internal plus an external or two external, but not all three at the same time.

According to Lenovo specifications, the T420s should be able to drive two external monitors plus internal screen, without a dock.

But cant get it to work. Drivers dont let me.

Where did you see that? I believe and I could be wrong, it's only the Optimus equipped T420(s) that can drive three monitors. Perhaps someone else knows better.

It seems as if I was wrong about this. I dont know what made me believe that but if I find it, i'll get right back.
