I got myself a T400 and it didn't come with a user's manual. The only thing I could find online was the ThinkPad T400 and R400 Hardware Maintenance Manual. This doesn't seem like a user's manual teaching how to use the laptop, but more of a technical manual. Is there an user's manual?

Thanks!

The HMM could be considered the users manual and I don't think there is a specific users manual. The HMM covers a lot of ground. Is there something you wanted to know?

Just the normal stuff, like how long to charge the battery and things like that. Also this is my first Thinkpad so I don't know how to use the fingerprint reader, camera, and even the keyboard light. Just a user's guide would be nice.

Will look at that, thanks. But it seems also to be a technical document.

Well the first two depend on your operating system, so you might want to consult your OS's documentation. The last one is simple: Fn + the the key with the picture of a light in the top right corner of your keyboard. Given that it's a light, there's really not much more than "on" and "off". ;)
