Has anyone used this HDD on a T500? I had recently bought one I used it the first few days with out all the updates and it ran super fast, but I notice a lot of heat coming from the Thinkpad up to 55* sometimes on normal usage. So I updated everything a few days ago now it running not as fast as it was in the beginning, could it be the heat or the harddrive or the updates?

I try again the Seagate harddrive and I found a really cool way to make it work :) I cloned my harddrive and it runs great, I think its a horrible driver issue that Seagate has, now the temp on my computer varies between 40c to 44c on my to almost 49c on my bed. Also I changed the thermal paste from grease to silicon paste.
