I have an SL410, and I replaced the stock HDD with a Seagate Hybrid SSD. Most of the drivers on the ThinkPad are no longer Lenovo. I want to wipe the HDD the easiest way so that I can can sell it. I am going to include a Full Version, Win 7 Pro, 64 Bit, SP1 Disc with the sale. What is the easiest way to do it so that the buyer can load the Win 7 disc with no problem? I'm not too savy on wiping a drive, so a detailed explanation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. :)

To securely erase a HDD before selling it, it is a good idea to use an application that will over-write all the data on the disk with zeros or random data, so that what was there before cannot be recovered. A simple format will not remove the data from the disk like an over-write will. Below are links to a couple of free apps with expainations of the use.
