R 400 upgrade

Hi, i have a ThinkPad R400 running windows xp and would like to upgrade to win 7,i have a retail copy of windows 7 home premium 32 bit and was wondering if it will work on my r400. the only lenovo stuff i use is the battery power manager and the 3 silver volume buttons at the top left.when i open the task manager under processes i can't believe all the stuff running not like my old dell.

W7 will run fine on your machine. Any additional drivers/utilities can be found on Lenovo's website.

My R400 runs Windows 7 perfectly. You can install Lenovo System Update to get all the needed drivers and software..
