I'd be curious if that exists. I've heard the other option could be to connect a variable power supply to the battery terminals, although that would be a problem on the 75x series, since they expect the intelligent battery pack, which obviously provides additional signals. With the 355/360 battery pack, you can't even turn on a 75x machine.

Here's the thread. It originally was for the 600, but it's the same process for almost all the older and newer Lenovo (at least it's similar for the X230)

I did it on a 750 because I needed the updated BIOS to fdisk a 1.2GB drive from a 755.
