Have a Yoga 14 that I really like, but would like something a bit smaller.
Do any of the X1C's have stylus input? I see the -tablet version does, but do any of the regular X1C's have them?
And is there a chart somewhere that outlines the differences between the generations?
Take a look at our

Re: X1C vs Yoga 14
I don't think any of the non-tablet/Yoga X1 Carbon support active pen (stylus). X1 Extreme / P1 supposedly do have this option, but I haven't figured out with 100% certainty that it's the same kind like an active Wacom stylus. Besides, these are 15.6" machines that weigh about as much as your Yoga.
Thinkpad 25 (20K7), T16 Gen 3 (21MQ), Yoga 14 (20FY), T430s (IPS FHD + Classic Keyboard), X220 4291-4BG
X61 7673-V2V, T60 2007-QPG, T42 2373-F7G, X32 (IPS Screen), A31p w/ Ultrabay Numpad

Re: X1C vs Yoga 14
Short answer: Unfortunately I believe that none of the 14" X1 Carbon support pen input.

(Very) long answer:
X1 Carbon (14" LCD)
-------------------------
X1C3: X1 Carbon Gen 3 has 14" touch screen option, but does not support pen input
X1C4: X1 Carbon Gen 4 has 14" touch screen option, but does not support pen input
X1C5: No touch screen option (ThinkPad offered X1 Yoga with touch screen support instead)
X1C6: X1 Carbon Gen 6 has 14" touch screen option, but does not support pen input
X1C7: To be launched summer 2019; full details unknown.
X1 Tablets: All generations support pen input
-------------------------
X1E1 (15" LCD X1 Extreme Gen 1) & P1 (Gen 1): has touch screen option, supports pen input, details as below:
~X1E1 supports Lenovo Active Pen 2 (1x AAAA battery + 2x very small button cell battery), Part No. GX80N07825
~X1E1 supports Lenovo Pen Pro (USB-C charges internal battery)
~It's been said that X1E1 supports Wacom AES pen (we cannot verify this)

We strongly suspect that Wacom is the maker for Lenovo Active Pen 2; the included instruction manual noted that user had to download the Wacom pen app to make full use of its functionality!
Due to very similar make of Lenovo Active Pen 2 and Lenovo Pen Pro, we suspect that both of these pens were made by the same manufacturer.
(We have both pens in our hands to compare as we speak).
Finally, neither our X1C3 nor our X1C4 had touch screen, so we cannot check if the touch screen version support works with above two pens or not.
But we can confirm that when ordering X1C3/X1C4 on ThinkPad website that no pen input options were offered, so no support for this.
-------------------------
fyi, the packaging on the Lenovo Active Pen 2 clearly stated that it supports the following models:
"Compatible with X1 Tablet Gen 2 / Lenovo MIIX 720 / Lenovo MIIX 510 / Lenovo MIIX 520 / Lenovo Yoga 720 / Lenovo Yoga 920 / [X1 Extreme Gen 1]"
-------------------------
Finally, we ended up NOT using the touchscreen input interface, and rarely used pen input.
And we never did any digital art using pen input.
