Yoga-like screen for Thinkpad C1?

#1 Post by Peterny1 » Wed Jan 23, 2013 4:28 am

The changing of my t420 is long overdue, I do not want to downgrade to in Ideapad, because of multiple reasons, including keyboard, durability, screen, etc, but I would like to have the 360 degree flip-screen option, the Yoga has.

My perfect computer would be the Carbon X1 Yoga. Does anyone know whether it is, or any ThinkPad version is in the pipeline?

Many thanks,

Peter

Thinkpad 8, Thinkpad W500, Thinkpad T61F 14" (2.53 GHz QX9300, 6 GB RAM, Quadro FX570m 256 MB), GPD win

Thanks! That looks a bit cumbersome and not at all as sleek as the X1C. Oh well, may need to give into temptation and go with the X1C Touch.

Months later we know now YES, there is was a ThinkPad version in the pipeline:

If I was trying to make a guess back in January, I would have thought they wouldn't. You never know with this new lenovo.

Actually, no. The 9 slim you are referring to is just a prototype.

The X1 Carbon successor will be the X3.
