I couldn't find this topic discussed anywhere else but has anyone who uses the Client Security Password Manager to access password protected websites via the fingerprint scanner have issues now that they have upgraded to IE7?
Before I would just go to a website where I had already created an entry and press "ctrl+F2" (custom keyboard shortcut) and the program would automatically fill in the username and password but now nothing happens.
I ran System Update and there are no updates for this program. The problem started when I upgraded to IE7. Anyone know what's up?

There are a number of other posts on this topic that indicate problems with the Password Manager and IE7.
I'm having the same problem with IE7 on an old x22 and x40 using an early version of the password manager - 1.30.002C.
I spoke with Thinkpad Support about this and was told that they don't support machines out of warranty.
However, I'm going to guess that your x60 is in warranty and that you're using the latest version of the Client Security Subsystem and hence Password Manager. If so, I would suggest that you contact Thinkpad Support and report this problem.
I can hardly believe, and am somewhat disappointed, that Lenovo is not already supporting IE7 at this time. Perhaps they see this as a Vista issue. In any event, if enough customers bring this to their attention, maybe they'll fix this problem sooner rather than later.
