And no, contrary to popular opinion, he didn't lower the wrong wing and plant the wrong gear.

That's the proper crosswind method in a swept wing aircraft. Otherwise he would have left shredded wingtip and engine nacelles on the runway.

Then there's the problem of planting the gear before you've lined up with the runway:

Aircraft was subsequently scrapped.

Awesome transaction with:

AlphaKilo470 - bought some drives and other parts from me. 2 more transaction for various parts including a Powerbook G3 Wallstreet. Great experiences each time.

Carlnunes - bought a X-Series portfolio style case.

brentpresley - bought one of the 5K100 80Gb 5400rpm HDDs. Runs Great! Bought but had to return a Toshiba drive. Brent refunded the price; no fuss, no muss.

brentpresley (3) - Like Brent needs any more support around here, but just wanted to document another great experience with him. This time with a Hitachi 80Gb 7200rpm for my "new" T30.

More positive feedback for BrentPresley. Had a hard drive shipped to a US address which I just picked up whilst over on holiday. Excellent packaging, swift delivery and item as described. Thanks.

I would like to report on a positive experience with AlphaKilo470. I sold him an Epson ActionNote 4SLC-50 laptop. Alex was quick in replying to PMs and was prompt on payment. I have nothing but praise for AlphaKilo470 and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

A very positive post for user OREVIN.

Parts arrived on time (even though I wasn't here to accept them!) and were well packed.

Regards,

James

Everyone has something good to say about brentpresley - and so do I.

Got one of those 80GB 5400 Hitachi drives he has been sellling for next to nothing. Works perfectly.

thanks Brent.

One more plus for brentpresley, 60GB 7200 drive was shipped fast, packed nice, and works great (tho it is on the loud side, but, of course, nothing Brent could do about that!)

[Later edit]
You never really find out about a seller until there's a problem with the transaction. There was a problem in this one, and Brent proved he deserves all the positive feedback he's received here.

The drive turned out to have a problem, and Brent was very helpful in nailing it down. He ended up replacing the drive, without any hesitation.

All in all, a pleasure to deal with, and I'd buy from Brent again without hesitation.

Just wanted to say thanks to bill bolton - last week I'd mentioned in another thread how I was looking for recovery CDs for my T40, and soon after the post he PM'd me to offer me a copy of a bootable DVD. I got it in today and it'll be something I'm careful not to lose. :D

Another plus for brentpresley I bought some ram and a wireless card from him on two different occasions. Both were excellent transactions.

I bought a X31 from "KillBill" for my sister-in-law. I met him in person for the transaction. I would do business with him again  .

Welcome back!!

As for the bad boy list....maybe its just me, but I haven't run across anyone here that I wouldn't recommend. You included!

P.S.
Thanks again for the T21 (using it now) and the T30!

As far as using PayPal, if a user sent me an instant CASH payment, would I still be protected under the Seller Protection Policy?

Bought a used Cisco wireless card from brentpresley - exc. communication, fast shipping.

A couple of months ago I bought an Intel wireless card via ebay from morgie - there was a confusion, and I received a generic Intel card instead of an IBM Intel card but morgie was very cooperative and we settled it.
