I've already done the BIOS Fn <--> Ctrl key swap, but would now like to swap the actual keys on the keyboard itself. This is clearly a more delicate process than popping keys off and on my IBM TrackPoint keyboard with the "clicky" buckle-spring action.

I'm pretty sure I can ruin the keyboard on the x120e with little effort. Has anyone here actually removed and replaced key caps successfully on this machine?

Thanks.

Yes, did it almost immediately on my X100e without issue. Just take some extra time. They are tough mechanisms and keys.

Thanks for the encouragement. I did have the caution to get a spare keyboard (good price, from a forum member), so will give it a try and post back with what I hope will be a success story. I can't stand having the keys in the factory deFAULT position.

Well, that was painless. Looks ever so much better now. Thanks.
