Thinkvantage/Lenovo updates not working

1. When I click on "Get Lenovo Updates" in the ThinkVantage Toolbox, nothing happens.

2. When I directly run TVSU "System Update", it shows updates but does not actually install them. Power Manager is stuck on 3.45 and won't update to 3.62, for instance. It seems to install, but then it still shows the same update afterward.

What do I need to do to fix this?

Uninstall Toolbox, reboot then download and install from this page

I just did that, but the "Get Lenovo Updates" button still doesn't do anything. That didn't uninstall tvsu, anyway.

I wonder if your security software is blocking it?

Google lenovo power manager 3.62 as others have reported the same problem, like here:

Have you tried downloading it directly and installing it that way? I had to do that for the UltraNav driver update a couple of times.

Good! Now you'll just have to wait for the next updates to see if System Update 4 installs them correctly. If not, it may be worth removing & re-installing System Update 4:
