So the other day I've installed an Ericsson F3507G WWAN module.
It worked well after tapping the 20th pin, installed drivers but it does not appear in the Fn+F5 menu.
So first should it appear at all and what to fix in order to have it there?

Cheers

I don't think it is possible to get it to appear there, I have also F3507g card (from Lenovo W500) in my T60p and I couldn't make it appear there. I have just whether disabled the card from BIOS or from network adapter folder.

Under the circumstances you've described, you wont get Fn+F5 support for that card.

Cheers,

Bill

What's needed to have it working?

For a minimum you'd need to not have pin 20 taped...... and for that you'd need a non-factory BIOS, and even with all that done, there may be other issues to resolve.......

Cheers,

Bill B.

Hacked BIOS is not enough as far as I can say because without taping pin20 OS does not see the card at all. And I am using Lenovo branded F3507g.

I'm also searching for a solution to get the combination T61 + F3507g + Windows 7 + Fn+F5 to run. In the german thinkpad-forum they wrote, that under WinXP everything was running
fine. Under Win 7 nobody has an idea how to get it done. After pressing Fn+F5 I onlycan see BT & WLAN, no WWAN.

Any ideas?

Greet,
XStone
