Hi,

My warranty expired 3 weeks ago and my first question is ->

1) Is it true that I can extend my warranty up to a month after it expires?

Also, I have a strange spot on my screen. It is NOT a dead pixel, quite the opposite. It looks like the protective film on the surface of the screen has peeled off in one spot, and now that spot is always "on" (ie, always bright, it won't change color or go black). So...

2) Is this something that Lenovo would cover with their warranty, should it be possible for me to renew?
3) Is there some way to repair it myself without replacing the screen? (Which I doubt, but I have to ask)

Thanks!

You can get a post warranty extension, but it's more expensive. Buying a screen and doing the work yourself is probably less expensive.

And what you have is a 'pressure point'.
Cannot be repaired, and is also not a normal warranty issue.
Replace the screen if it bothers you.
