I'm thinking about getting a 3 cell battery for my X220 Tablet, the 6 cell has been getting way too obstrusive, not to mention ugly.

Has anyone actually used a 3 cell on the x220t? If so how does it fit?
Does it still stick out and bulge out at the bottom? Or does it fit perfect with no protrusions?
If anyone has a picture of their x220 with a 3 cell attached I'd love to see how it fits.

As well does anyone know good vendor that supplies it a a good price?
I really don't care about the battery life, I just want a battery that fits snug.

The 6 cell x220t has got to be ugliest battery ever made.

Just from the pictures that can be found for the part number 0A36285 via Google images, it looks like the three cell doesn't have the bulge on the bottom, but I haven't seen it myself.

I'm gonna take a chance and get one in hopes of there being no bulge.
The ugliness of the X220t battery is simply beyond tolerance. I was swear people point at and stare at Airports.
God what is that monstrosity. Does he carry that thing around, poor guy.

Sweet mother of god shes beautiful.
I could have been carrying that, all this time.

I'm gonna keep the ugly 6 cell in my bag and only use it when no ones around.

I hated the 6 cell on my X200T and got a 4 cell to replace it.
It wasn't that easy to find as the aftermarket doesn't seem to
think copying the 4 cell is worth the effort so the only option at
least in the US is new or used, and both options are pretty expensive.

Thats what I found out. Ebay doesn't sell any of the batteries. I'll keep on searching.

X230 Tablet 3-cell batteries also fit inside of the X220 Tablet. That's what I've been using for quite a few months now; got lucky on an ebay auction and nabbed it for $70. Lenovo has the 3-cells too. If you try to use an X220T 3-cell inside an X230T then you'll run into problems because of the battery chip; the other way is fine.

There is this Ebay seller.
http://stores.ebay.com/C-and-K-Dream?_t ... 7675.l2563

Don't know anything about the seller. Located in US; ships worldwide.
Ran across when looking for TP batteries.
