The good stuff:
This machine is in excellent condition, and has tight hinges.
There is no shine on keyboard, palmrest or touchpad.
There are only very minimal signs of wear on the outside.
The LCD has no scratches, pressure marks or dead pixels and is clear and bright!

But more important: it has Production Date 08/09 (2008/September)!
The GPU has been verified as being from the new generation.

The CPU/fan has a fresh application of Arctic Silver 5.
The keyboard is from everybody's favorite: NMB.
This machine has been flashed with Middleton's BIOS 2.29/1.08, which:
- allows for SATA II speed of the hard drive/SSD
- has Dual-IDA Support
- removes the wifi whitelists
- has other good stuff

ONLY for buyers from abroad: this machine will have to be shipped abroad without a battery (new USPS regulations).

Bump

These are great systems. It's a shame that Lenovo cancelled the T61 line shortly after fixing the reliability issues with the nVidia chips, which makes units like this so rare, one of the last great thinkpads with discrete graphics.
