T430 wireless not working

#1 Post by icecream12345 » Tue Dec 25, 2012 2:07 am

Hello,
I've been trying for the past 3 hours to fix my wireless. At first it began by intermittently dropping out. It would connect then disconnect right away and then the status would go to "identifying" and then goes in a loop. I've tried almost anything that's been on the internet.
And now after I've been trying to fix it, I just can't connect to internet.
What I've tried so far
1. uninstall access connection/ reinstall
2. reinstall wireless adapter
3. updated all the software that lenovo gives you
4. unchecked the power management option from device managers "allow this computer to turn this off to save power"
5. checked for virus using MBAM

to further provide info, it's not the modem/router problem because other wireless devices work fine.

but here is a log that i can't get to the bottom of

Re: T430 wireless not working

#2 Post by reaqter » Sat Jan 04, 2014 5:40 pm

Hi all, old thread but I figured I would add to it instead of making a new one. I've had the same exact problem on my T430 Win7 Home Premium for a day now. I didn't have any connection problems prior to the sudden disconnect, and then just like icecream12345's problem, it started looping from connections available -> identifying -> no network access/limited access -> connections available. It's not a router problem because all 4 other devices in the household have no problem accessing the internet via WiFi.

Like icecream12345, I've tried the following:
-system restore to 1, 3, and 4 days prior to problem
-reset wireless adapters
-uncheck "allow computer to turn off device to save power" for -all network devices
-set channel width to auto
-set roaming aggressiveness to medium, transmit power highest
-install older adapter drivers
-reinstall Intel drivers
-uninstall Access Connections
-restart after all of the above

I have the following network hardware:
Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection
Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6205
Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter

These logs occurred 24+ hours before the internet suddenly went into the connections available-identifying-no network access-connections available loop on 01/03/14.

From 01/03/14 17:29:02, there are just a bunch of name resolution timeouts for web addresses from DNS Client Events (ex: Name resolution for the name prod4.rest-notify.msg.yahoo.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.)

There are also NETwNs64 logs over and over again:

The logs are all repeat after that.

Any ideas?
