I have an IBM T30 and I want to run a linux distro from a usb drive. XP loads fine fron the HDD and I have looked at the BIOS and selected "removable storage" - I have the latest bios in the machine.
The option in Bios is CDROM, HDD, Removable stor, boot agent.
I read somewhere that enabling usb in BIOS (which I did but only indicates booting from a USB CDROM or FLOPPY) and choosing removable storage would allow me to do it, but no success. I searched the forum but have not found a solution.
Anyone have been able to do this? 2366-86U is the model I have with the latest embeded controller program.
