Disable key beep when you his three keys
Disable key beep when you his three keys
Sometimes when Im typing, and I accidently hit three keys at once (or if im playing a game that requires the use of 3 or more keys at ones), I get this loud and annoying beep. It seems to come through the system speakers and not the bios speaker, so i dont think I can disable it in bios. Anyone know how to get rid of the beep?

Go to the Device Manager, click on View>"Show Hidden Devices" then open up the sub-tree "Non-Plug and Play Drivers," then disable the one that is labelled "Beep."
That should do the trick.

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

I just noticed this as well; it appears to only happen in Windows, and only for some combinations of keys. A few that cause the beep:
huo
sfg
wrt
ryu
yuo
bnm
cvb

Is this really a proper solution? It looks like it is addressing the symptom, not the root problem.Go to the Device Manager, click on View>"Show Hidden Devices" then open up the sub-tree "Non-Plug and Play Drivers," then disable the one that is labelled "Beep."
