T40 2200BG Flashing LED

The wireless NIC on my T40 was upgraded to the Intel 2200BG which works sufficiently well for me in my home office and on the road at Starbucks and airports. What I noticed soon after the upgrade is that the wireless LED blinks randomly. I don't remember the LED blinking with the original NIC.

Anyone else have this symptom?

There's nothing wrong. The light flickers with NIC traffic. Mine has always flickered with any revision of wireless NIC software, and indeed with either Intel or IBM NIC's. ... JD Hurst
