Hello, I have an really annoying problem. The time of my T60 doenst run neither in Windowos XP nor in the bios, when the T60 is turned off. Thus I have to adjust the time every time I start my system ;( .Does anyone have a solution? Could a be a hardware problem of the mainboard? Thank you very much...

a few moments ago I tried to follow your advise. But it doesn't work. When I press the power-on button, the fingerpint screen apperars immdiately. And when I press F1 nothing happens.

I just secured my system with a power-on password, but now I am not able to access my BIOS, as the screen switches directly after the log-in screen to the windows boot screen. I know it is a newbie question, but please help me.

initially thnak you all for the support regarding Fancontrol on my new T60. Now the fan problem is solved, but I can clearly hear some noise even when the doesn't run. Is this a normal iusse? It is possible to solve it?

Hello again, as proposed I downloaded FanControl and spent some time to read the "readme" carefully. Then I switched into Smart-Mode and the fan started to run continously in the highest mode (7). Thus the fan was even louder than using my T60 without FanControl. What is the reason for this behavior...
