also keep in mind about the ram and HD speed too which it has a lot to do if you go for the 7600 for example.

Interesting thought, but if I can get it fixed I intend to keep it. If I were to return it after getting it fixed, I would be exchanging a machine that works for one that is not known to work. If I can't trust the repair service, then I have problems that returning it and buying another similar one...
