The only issue with the 2200BG is if you buy it from Intel, not from IBM. See that.

You need to update the bios with the IBM/Intel 2200BG, the Intel version won't work, whatever bios you have.

Be careful to buy this card from IBM as a regular Intel 2200BG won't be recognized by the bios (error 1802 at boot).
