I created the files from the "Create Rescue Media" on my external hard drive, and it wiped my external hard drive. Does anyone know how I can get the files off that drive or are they gone forever?

That happened to me too and it was out of the blue. I went to turn on my computer and the battery LED was flashing. At first, I thought I simply forgot to turn it off and the battery was drained, but then I plugged it in over night and the same result. I called Lenovo and they sent me a new battery.

My GF has a R52 and I would like to get her some RAM because her computer is draging right now with only 256. She is not a power user so she is not dying for it but I think some more would help her out. If anyone has any RAM they would like to sell - I am interested. Thanks

I recently got a t42 and I would like to transfer some programs and settings from my old computer. What exactly transfers? I would like to transfer my outlook from my old to my new computer so I dont lose my emails and contacts but does it transfer programs like that or not? Thanks!
