The point is, I don't want to deal with shipping any of it - local pickup only. If it's not claimed soon, I'm just dumping it...

FREE: T4x minidocks, external HD cases, M13 keyboards...

For anyone who can do a local pickup at my convenience in the Bay Area (San Mateo to San Jose area), I have a bunch of accumulated ThinkPad T4x items that are new in the box or very nearly so, which I would feel bad about just recycling/throwing away. I know I have 2 minidocks, several external 2.5"...

Qty. 2 T4x dock (not the Mini-dock... I guess that makes it the Port Replicator. Was $10 each, dropped to $5 each. Does this work on a T40 as well as on an R52? If so, I want one. Yes. I also replied to your email, but for everyone else, the markings on the back include: Type 74P6733 P/N 74P6734 FR...

Re: FS: M13 keyboards, T4x docks, Booq 14" sleeves (IMG WAR

For the keyboard with trackpoint to work, do you need to have two PS/2 ports? Would it work with a PS/2 Y-splitter on an Advanced (Mini) Dock? It's basically the keyboard and mouse ports. I found the (as I recall, pretty expensive) PS/2 to USB converter plugs I bought for the keyboards, so can incl...

Would you ship an M13 to the UK? If so, how much would shipping be? Shipping to the UK would be painful; the cheapest method seems to be USPS Priority Mail International, which is $40.50. The keyboard weighs 5.2 pounds before heavy taping and such, and USPS rounds to the pound - so 6 pounds. That's...

Been away from the forum for a while, but have a bunch of ThinkPad stuff I no longer need: Qty. 2 IBM M13 keyboards. These are the old buckling-spring keyboards with the TrackPoint built in. Both are new in the box, although one was opened to verify contents and take pictures. Was $125 each, dropped...

As mentioned in the ad for my T43 for sale, I also have a T61p for sale. Again, machine is like new, and has seen even less use than the T43. Specs: T61p (6459-CTO): -T7500 Core 2 Duo -15.4" WUXGA LCD (1920x1200) -Nvidia QuadroFX 570 (256MB) -1GB RAM -80GB 5400rpm HD -NMB keyboard (have the original...

I have for sale a T43 which I bought directly from IBM/Lenovo, that has seen very little use (all of it desktop). Specs are as follows: T43 (2687-DSU): -Pentium M 760 (2.0GHz) -1GB RAM (upgraded from 512MB) -14.1" SXGA+ -64MB ATI X300 -100GB 7200rpm HD (upgraded from 80GB 5400rpm) -DVD+-RW -Intel wi...

FS: 2 T4x Port Replicators - $25 each

I have for sale two T4x Port Replicators, great shape. Part number is 74P6734, FRU part number is 13R0292. It also says "TYPE 74P6733" on the back. These replicators use your existing power supply, and hence don't come with one. For the $25, I'll cover FedEx 2-day shipping to your location, assuming...

Thanks everyone for the feedbacks! Paul, may I ask you where you saw in Johan's post (and related posts) that two of us are running SATA drives in the Ultrabay of the T43? And if it was true, it would apply to all T4x TPs I think. The SATA-PATA bridge doesn't seem to help anything, but only to comp...

You can't run an SATA drive in an Ultrabay adapter in a T4X machine simply because there is no SATA controller in a T4X. You can however run a PATA drive in an Ultrabay slim PATA 2nd HDD adapter in a T6X machine because the T6X's support both SATA and PATA. Actually, if you did deep enough into the...

it surely will. You can use a SATA drive in the T4x with that UltraBay from the T6x series. Has anyone actually tried it? I am skeptical because T40/41/42 doesn't have SATA support. Here's the thread I mentioned above: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=41927&highlight= The theory is that t...

Re: UltraBay Slim on T61p - Is it same as T43p?

The T40-series HDD adapter can be used in a T43 and T60 but only with ATA drive, not the SATA drive. The HDD adapter for the T6-series takes a SATA drive. That adapter cannot be used on your T43. Actually, that second part isn't quite true. There's a thread on the forums here, I think in the T4x se...

They call the the Pro a "portable Computer." This is a lame excuse for not being able to manage internal temperatures on their m...
