Thanks for the reply. In the z61 accessories page it says "connect SERIAL ata HDD" for ultrabay. Are you sure the older IDE HDD would work?

Can I connect a ATA-100 IDE HDD from my old T41P to a Z61P using the Ultrabay or does it accept only Serial ATA?

With the larger case they could have added s-video and firewire ports. If the current 4:1 flexview T60 had those, I'd buy it right away.
My Z61P has these ports, but that thing is huge with a crappy screen.

Any idea if the new T series models will have s-video or firewire?

My Z61P was recently stolen and I was about to purchase a T60P taking advantage of the holiday sale, but I now I see these rumors... Is it a popular opinion that widescreen is more preferable? It is entirely based on preference. Personally I must have high resolution; 1600x1200 15" is nice, but IMO...

I just got a T41P 2373XQX (refurbushied) and it has one dead pixel. Is there anything I can do? Does the warranty cover just one dead pixel?

How can I tell which battery I have. 6 cell or 9 cell?
