If your T61 had discrete graphics, then you can use the heatsink, otherwise you'll need a heatsink too. also, if your T61p board is a 42w7650 it won't run these chips unless you use a modified bios to suppress the fact that your board doesn't support the penryn cpu digital temp sensor.
