Well I suddenly have a power issue on my T23 and so I do the obviouse and search the forums lol. My T23 says the battery is dead 0% but the laptop is not shutting off the battery light is blinking etc... But the laptop is running fine so I dont think I need to run a multi meter on it. I think part of the problem with my T23 may be the video card. Are there upgrades for this machine? If so what are they? If not what is the most current driver for it showing 12-03 on the driver details but I though mabey S3 made one after that

It had a fresh XP install I had to enter the Key so I figure they installed it just before shipping. I am going to start shopping for Ram and HD. No recovery disk though I guess I will have to find one. Thanks for the help

Got the T23 today and I love it I have never had a laptop this slim and compact. It has the 1.2 PIII and 512 of ram, I read somewhere that you can go up to 1g of ram on the T23 is that true? Also it seems to be a little slow for a 1.2 I updated all the IBM drivers through the IBM auto update system ...

UPDATE* I was finally alble to catch the temp at shut down on 3 seperate occaissions 53c, 70c, 68c That kinda sounds like a low temp for it to shut down this A21P has always run very hot. Does anyone have any ideas could the MB be going bad?

that was a mis-type it was supposed to be 73 which is about 163f (i think) , as for the warranty I just dont have the money to do that right now I would rather spend 40-50 on a new system board and have it in a few days than go a month without my laptop.

Here is my problem any input would be appreciated. About 2 weeks ago my A21 started shutting down at random, and through process of elimination I figured out it was over heating. I examined the heatsink/fan assembly, and found it was not running. I bought a new one, and It ran well for about a day (...
