Thanks for the response. I do have a 3.5" to 2.5" IDE adaptor (to load programs via my pc IDE) and floppy drive for the 701, but no CD drive. 701 Hard Drive Upgrade Process?
Hi All,
I just received a 4.3GB HD which I want to use to upgrade my 701C's 795(?)MB original.
Can anyone point me to a "how-to" that shows the upgrade process? I know I need a small fat16 partition for something. Also, I plan on loading 98SE. Would SE lite be better?

I'm late but I'll throw in my two cents worth of confidence. My 701C runs 95B well and has word 97 and excel 97 installed. It did run AOL OK till I wised up. 701, Win95, and Wireless?
Anyone been successful bringing their Win95 equiped, "legacy", 701 into the wireless age? I'm ready to give it a try. I know she needed a 16 bit pcmcia card to successfully talk to my network. What do I need for wireless? [sorry if this was answered somewhere before. I searched the old and new forum...
