Thanks. Glad that it is not only my HD who has the problem. Can you run the bootvis? I tried it but it always said HD not detected or similar message.

I found out a new bug :-) After some time of inactivity, the screen turns itself off, which is normal. But if you wait for some time and then try to turn on the monitor by, say, hitting a key, the screen does not turn on. mmm... that's happened to me once when I am still using 1.05a. Not sure what ...

Just updated to 1.09a from the original bios 1.05a (2623-D6U). So far so good.

In my new T60 (2623-D6U) with Hitachi HD 80GB HTS541080G9SA00, the HDTune does not show the HD Info or HD Health Status. Does anyone with similar HD could confirm if the problem lies on HDTune or my others software?
