My T40 had a dim screen But my laptop has warranty until 12. december and IBM replaced it with a new one It took about five days, but i`m very pleased with the result. I like IBM and i think i will be loyal to them forever.......for me they are the best

Thank you for the answer I think at least in Estonia IBM and Lenovo are the same, but to be completely sure i will contact with IBM. I`m asking all of this because the warranty extension for three years seems so cheap....aprox 100$
