the reason the omega's do not function is because tripple buffering is on for OpenGL by default, and a FireGL T2 can not use that. Install Radlinker which installs an advanced OpenGL control panel and turn off Tripple Buffering to make the omega's work.

As far as I know there is no solution that allows a scanner to be hooked up as a network device and used by any device in the network. You are just going to have to get a USB cable to your pc

The 9600 may give better stock performence before you start tweeking with things due to a higher stock clockspeed. This mans report of "apx 30fps" also means little as he isnt posting results with how he found this number, the core/mem speeds he has on his card, and the drivers he is using.

By no means, having too much time on your hands is not a bad thing :) I have no care for my stability, so I am just leaving the thing perma-hacked. The ATiTool will find the max stable OC of your card, it just seems 420/235 isnt destined for your system. If your pc is locking, that means the core is...

Patje's Mobility Modder, for me, does not yield a working OpenGL driver. Launching Doom 3, Or even trying to get the resolution up to 1400x1050 fails.

It certinaly is readable, son is simply going to have to get used to it. I thought when ordering that 1400x1050 was way the hell too small, but in reality it fits the laptop quite well. Turning Cleartype on was the only requirment I needed for everything to be purdy.

Its not a huge difference, but it also doesnt generate a huge ammount of letterboxing. Go into display properties -> Settings Tab -> Advanced Button -> Displays Tab -> Click on the Word "FPD" -> Uncheck Option "Scale Image to Panel Size". Now your lcd will letterbox any lower resolution, and 1280x10...

Some of the things they turn off "no bob, no player shadows" take away from the realism that this game is famous for. Buyer beware when changing the gaming experiance. For multiplayer however I don't see a downside.

I will yield if anyone here actualy knows of something, but there isn't an off switch in the bios. If this were a desktop pc you could turn off the IDE chains, but this is a laptop and you don't have that control. Your option is pretty much to yank it if you want to be 100% safe that nothing can hap...

I don't know if you truely understood what I said, so I am going to clarify.

You can not, in any way shape or form, put a scanner onto a bluetooth USB dongle and have it function.

As of today, there is no scanner made that can in any way shape or form be put onto a bluetooth connection.

Should be noted that while Centrino name is a pretty thing, its rather meaningless because all it specifcys is a specific combination of cpu, chipset, and wireless. As long as you have the CPU and the Chipset, you can slap any wireless in there and have a "Centrino-Like" laptop that meets or surpass...

Conmee to provide a suggustion for your overclocking adventures, google for a tool called ATiTool, this thing is basicly an auto overclocker. It raises the core or memory rate of your ati chipset while looking for artifacts, then lower it once artifacts are seen until you eventually find the highest...

The biggest pain being the T41p simply because of the driver drama. ATi release...
