Problem ejecting ultrabase from X60s
Over the last few weeks my X60s has developed an issue ejecting from the ultrabase. Even when no applications are running the EasyEject fails, saying "The device cannot be stopped because a program is still accessing it". The only thing I did recently was install a new printer driver (Samsung CLP-30...

Thanks, I tried this but it didn't work. What worked in the end was the following: Go to control panel -> internet options -> connections -> LAN settings, then turn off, uncheck the 'proxy server' box and check the 'automatically detect settings' box. I also had to ensure that the dialup connection ...

Wireless and dial-up at the same time?
I have problem. Maybe you can help. I recently installed a dial-up service (Orange in the UK) so I could use internet/email while out in the sticks. Now I'm back at home with wireless broadband. My web browser (firefox) and email (thunderbird) work fine. But, other programs that require web connecti...

Just to add my experience to the pot: 1 month old X60s, worked fine to begin with. In the last week it has developed the following problem: It keeps dropping wireless every 5 mins or so; the wireless simply powers itself off. I can use ThinkVantage (or fn+f5) to power-on the wireless again, after wh...

x60s vs t60 vs t60p, Need to decide!
Decision time approaches. I can't decide between the X60s and the T60(p). Apples and oranges, I know, but. Does anyone with experience of both (or indeed either) have any comments to make? I am wondering about the following in particular: 1. What is the benefit of the T60p over the T60? I don't want...
