On the same note: If the t42 735 has a fsb of 400, why can't pc3200, which is ddr not ddr2, be used? or am I reading the numbers wrong sure you can add a pc3200 memory, it runs. but here's the deal: 1. most pc3200 has CL3.0 and pc2700 has CL2.5 which is better. 2. PC3200 needs about 0.1v more volta...

it seems that t42p's usb port is as fragile as t40's. my ancient t40-7cu got that problem 1 yr ago. although it can recognize usb device, it runs on usb 1.1 rather than 2.0. it never hurts me if i just used that port to plug a mouse, but, if i wanna back up my data with a external drive, the speed i...

533 is the frequency for t43 motherboard, and that's the DDR2.
